These Terms cover use of the App, Premium features, billing, dictation/STT, and disclaimers. For how information is handled, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Purpose
These Terms govern your use of the Screen Memo mobile application ("App") provided by Naturecombined, Inc. ("Company", "we", "us").
2. Effect and changes
These Terms take effect when posted in the App, on the web, or otherwise made reasonably available.
We may update these Terms as permitted by law. Material changes will be announced in the App or on the web.
Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
3. Service and license
The App provides memo management on your device, including attachments, alarms, auto-display, groups, calendar, smartphone viewing statistics, dictation/STT, and related features. Free and Premium paid features may both be offered via Google Play.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.
4. Eligibility and device requirements
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age stated in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for a compatible Android device, installation, permissions, and other requirements.
Features may be limited or unavailable due to storage, memory, OS version, manufacturer policies, battery optimization, permission settings, network, or Android speech recognition service status.
We do not guarantee full compatibility or uninterrupted operation on every device or environment.
5. Service availability and feature limits
Numbers and limits shown in the App, store listing, or Premium descriptions describe supported caps or policies, not a guarantee that every feature will always work or reach that limit on your device.
The App depends on your device and Android environment. Image attach, auto-display, alarms, widgets, statistics, ads, and dictation may be delayed, limited, or unavailable because of storage, permissions, battery/background restrictions, OEM policies, network conditions, or third-party services such as Google Play, AdMob, Firebase, or Android speech recognition services.
We provide the App on a best-effort basis. Failures caused mainly by factors outside our reasonable control are not treated as a breach by us.
6. Dictation / STT
Dictation lets you tap a microphone button to convert speech to text using Android's built-in SpeechRecognizer / Android speech recognition services.
We do not use Google Cloud Speech-to-Text API or any separate STT server/API operated or contracted by us, and we do not send dictation audio or saved memo contents to our own servers.
Availability and quality of speech recognition may vary depending on device, OS version, language settings, network, and the state of Android speech recognition services or Google voice services.
STT output is an automatic recognition result. We do not guarantee accuracy. You must review and edit recognized text as needed before saving.
Even if you tap "Done" and move recognized text into the memo input field, it is not stored as App memo data until you finally save the memo.
7. Premium / paid features
Premium features such as ad removal, widget, custom backgrounds, ongoing smartphone viewing statistics, snooze, image share/export, and dictation are provided through Google Play billing.
Dictation is a Premium feature. Free users can use dictation up to 30 successful uses, counted only when a result is completed into the memo input field.
Cancellation, errors, and no recognition result do not count against the free usage limit.
After 30 free successful uses, a Premium subscription/purchase prompt may be shown. Premium users can use dictation without this limit.
This charge is for access to App features and is not a pass-through charge for external API usage such as Google Cloud Speech-to-Text API fees.
Benefits, pricing, and trial periods follow in-app, Paywall, and store listings and may change with reasonable notice.
8. Payment, subscriptions, and refunds
Payment, renewal, cancellation, refund eligibility, and procedures follow Google Play policies and your Play account settings.
Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled in Google Play before renewal.
Refund requests should generally be made through Google Play. We do not offer separate refunds outside Google Play except where required by applicable law.
Device-side limits, denied permissions, third-party speech service status, disclosed free usage limits ending, and similar user-side or platform conditions are handled under Google Play policies and these Terms, not as a separate direct refund obligation to us.

10. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may modify or discontinue features for operational or technical reasons. Material changes to paid features will be announced when practicable. Free features may change without notice.
We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. Refunds in such cases follow Google Play policies and applicable law.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or timely operation; that alarms will always fire on schedule; that auto-display or widgets will always appear; that ads will always load; or that dictation will always be available or accurate.
We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including failures of Google Play, AdMob, Firebase, Android speech recognition services, user-side environment issues, and network conditions.
Because data is stored on your device by default, we are not liable for loss from device loss, damage, reset, or lack of backup.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for paid use is limited to amounts you paid us in the prior three months, if any.
12. Intellectual property
Rights in the App belong to us or licensors. You retain rights in content you create and store.
13. Governing law and language
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes shall be subject to the courts where our head office is located, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country. If translated versions conflict, the English version controls except where local law requires otherwise.
14. General
These Terms together with the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App. If any provision is invalid, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
